A graduate of Moore College of Art & Design, Diane has won many awards, Addys & high-fives throughout her career. Formerly an art director for a large corporate firm, she then formed her own group to design marketing and PR for hospitals, malls, colleges, non-profits and businesses. All the while, teaching Design at the Greenville Museum of Art, a program with the Univ. of South Carolina. Computer graphics to fused glass ...who knew? Creating One by One Glass, she designed all the pieces and managed the production gals for 12 years, creating glass for gift shops & boutiques nationwide. Moving on...again....the fiber web construction was organic. Looking for something new, experimenting with all sorts of stuff...
Now, the Diane Prekup Fiber label
is found in upscale boutiques and shops around the country.
For fun, it's kayaking, cycling, yoga. Not always in that order.
So many thanks to Mark,
who had no idea what he was in for all those years ago!
Design is a process I embrace -
it requires diligence, patience, persistence,
and the talent to see beyond the obvious.
